Mr. Sachin Kerur, (BEng (Hons) Construction Engineering) Partner, Head of Middle East Region – Pinsent Masons

He has lived in the Middle East for over 10 years and is the Head of the firm’s Dubai office. Sachin advises Government and the private
sector on privatised and publicly procured infrastructure and development works, particularly across the Middle East and India. He has advised on some of the most important airports, road and rail networks, power plants, commercial and residential developments,
oil and gas facilities, water supply plants, hotels and education facilities in the Middle East and Sub-Continent.
For the last three years Sachin has been listed among the 75 most influential figures in the Middle East construction industry by the region’s leading construction publication, Construction Week and is listed in the Who’s Who Legal’s Guide to the best Global Construction
Lawyers as well as Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners. Sachin is frequently called to speak and write on the Middle East and Indian infrastructure sectors.


Mr. William Marshall, (B Media LLB - Macquarie University) Senior Associate – Pinsent Masons

William is a Senior Associate who specialises in construction procurement, strategy, and project delivery on both traditionally procured and PPP/PFI projects. He advises employers, main contractors, subcontractors and consultants through the entire 'procurement to completion' project lifecycle in respect of major infrastructure projects primarily in the Middle East, Africa and Asia. He has specific expertise in pre-tender risk assessment, contract drafting and negotiation, project delivery strategy and administration, and claims management and mitigation in respect of airports, oil and gas projects, sports infrastructure, rail projects, roads, hospitals, hospitality and residential projects. William is well versed in the full FIDIC suite of contracts, and also has experience in respect of the JCT, NEC3 and Australian Standards suites of contracts.


Mr. Thomas Howell, Solicitor - Pinsent Masons

He is a New Zealand qualified construction lawyer and has specialist construction and engineering law experience acting for employers, contractors, subcontractors and consultants on a wide variety of strategy and drafting matters. Thomas is adept at producing bespoke contract documentation to fit a range of procurement methods, and he also frequently works with clients using a variety of international standard form construction contracts including FIDIC (i.e. the 1987 Red Book and the 1999 "rainbow" suite), NEC3, and the NZS 3910:2013 suite.
